MINIATURE AMERICAN BLANKET BOX

This 19th century paint decorated blanket box retains its original untouched condition.

It was found in Lancaster County Pennsylvania.

Construction is square nail. There are circular saw marks on the underside.

The front & sides were decorated using picture frame panels with applied diamonds.

The inside is lined with an early wallpaper.

Approximate Dimensions: (W) 19", (H) 8 1/2", (D) 10 3/4".

Condition: As found, no evidence of damage, repairs or restoration.
