HAND MADE FIGURE SKATES FROM 19th CENTURY NEW BRUNSWICK CANADA

These hand made skates were found in New Brunswick. 

They retain most of their original leather straps: leather loops in the front and a harness fastening in the rear.

They also retain  some of their original red paint.

The blades end in  nicely scrolled curls, each measuring 2 3/4" high.

Approximate Dimensions: Length of skate 15" length of footbed 11".

Condition: As found, no damage and no repairs.
