PAINTED CAST IRON SAILOR 'OLD SALT' DOORSTOP

This sailor with fishing net doorstop was possibly made by the Hubley Mfg Co. in the 1920's but is unsigned. It is made of solid cast iron i.e. it is full figured.

The paint is original. It weighs about 3 1/2 lbs.

Condition: As found, see photos. No damage or repairs. Wear as expected with age & use. Someone put a piece of carpet on the base to protect the floor.
