HANDMADE 19th CENTURY ICE SKATES
WITH LARGE CURLS ENDING IN BRASS ACORN FINIALS
These 19th century handmade figure skates have large forged iron curls at the toe end of the blade which are 5" high and end in small brass acorn finials.
The platforms of the skates have an 'hourglass' shape, perhaps they were ladies skates. They are not signed by the maker.
Approximate Dimensions: Length of platform11", Length of the entire skate is 14".
Condition: No damage or repairs evident. The leather has been lost over time.
