RARE COMPLETE SET 'OLD FASHIONED ICE SKATING & SKI PARTY'

This complete 30 piece set of lead flats was imported from Germany to the USA in the 1920's by Art Craft Products (see advertisement). Each piece is hand painted front and back in vibrant colours!!

The advertisement states: “Winter Wonderland, Skating, Skiing, Sledding, you’ll see it all in this winter carnival atmosphere of the gay nineties. The colourful hand painted figures will literally spring to life in this wonderful wintertime setting for your table centerpiece, mantel, window or niche.  This is also a fascinating and welcome educational Christmas gift for all children of school age. An import from Germany made of durable metal; they are accurately scaled to size (up to 2” high).”

The pieces are signed 'Made in Germany' or just 'Germany' depending on available space and are numbered with the manufacturer's (Heinrichsen) model number on their bases (see photo of the base).
Approximate Dimensions: The figures are approximately 1" to 2" tall. The trees are 2 1/2" tall. The sleigh is 5" long.

Conditio As found. The original painted surfaces are nice & bright showing very little wear. The original box is included and shown in the photos.

These also look wonderful set out on and around a glass 'skating rink' for Christmas.
